It was in the middle of the evening and Lex was one of three musicians playing that night.Lighting
The lighting was dim in the room so I bounced my flash off the ceiling, I struggled to get low to the floor and far enough back to get the dog and the musician into the shot as there was a table behind me..Equipment
Nikon D40 with a stock 28-55mm lens and an SB-400 flash hand held on a cable run off the hot shoe.Inspiration
I loved the nonchalant dog (Ralph) in contrast to the concentrated expression of the musician.Editing
