The Giant Roadrunner sculpture that was made out of trash and old metal as part of a "recycling education program" and became an icon for those living in the Mesilla Valley. After sitting on display for about a decade the sculpture became deteriorated. In 2011 the roadrunner was taken down for refurbishing.
In June 2014 the roadrunner returned to it's former spot to watch over The Mesilla Valley. Thanks to Olin Calk for his hard work and dedication in restoring what has become a valuable icon for people of the area. Photo taken July 11th, 2014

NM. The valley where Mesilla and Las Cruces sits. It's simple but it's the simple but I find it amazing :)
