I have a special attachment to shots like this. I spent 34 years in the fire department and retired last year as a captain. Awesome shot!

I took this photo north of Adair, Iowa. Right along the main highway.Time
It was taken during the evening. We had to let the winds die down.Lighting
I didn't really take into consideration the lighting. All I had with me was my cellphone.Equipment
My equipment consists of an IPhone 5c. I don't own an official digital camera.Inspiration
I was on a local fire department. The day this picture was taken, I was currently just joining the department. I wasn't an official member yet. I was invited to this practice burn just to observe.Editing

Just consider all your options when shooting an image. I thought this picture would be really awesome with a firefighter in the foreground and the house in the background.
