My very first encounter with the Lions of the Great Serengeti was this handsome little guy, just sitting in the grass. Moments later we saw the his mother and a few more adult females form his pride, all out for an afternoon stroll.

"Journey to Tanzania”

In July 2013, three New England native photographers: Chris Keeley, Pat Kennedy Corlin, Meagan Corlin Brogan travelled to Tanzania, Africa as participants in a travel photography workshop called The Giving Lens (www.thegivinglens.com). This organization was founded by world-renowned photographer Colby Brown and seeks to blend photo education with hands-on support for sustainable development projects around the world.

In Tanzania, through The Giving Lens partnership, Chris, Pat and Meagan were thrilled to assist with a variety of humanitarian projects with an NGO called Art in Tanzania. We had the opportunity to meet hundreds of kids of all ages in their schools, homes and communities, as well as explore the places and wildlife of their incredible country: Tanzania.
