Location
I took this on "Mormon Row" near Grand Tetons National Park.Time
Just as sunrise peeked over the mountain behind me. You can see the grass in the foreground still has deep shadows.Lighting
Sunrise hits this barn's face so it is really the time to be there. Plus sunrise also lights up the Tetons in the background.Equipment
I used my first DSLR a Pentax Kx on a tripod. No 2 second delay or remote shutter release.Inspiration
I had seen this barn in a friend's photo, and since we were going the the Tetons, I did some research to find it and know when sunrise was. We visited it the afternoon before, just to be sure we knew where it was. The light was NOT good in the afternoon.Editing
No post-processing. I was shooting only jpeg at the time and didn't know how to do any editing. In my camera bag
Now I have either a Nikon D750 or Pentax K70, (sometimes both). I like the versatility of an all in one zoom, so the Pentax has a 18-250mm, the Nikon a 28-300mm. I might bring a wide angle lens if I think I'll get some night sky shots. I always carry an extra battery & car charger, lens cloths, SD cards, and often a tripod. Sometimes I bring a flash. Always have some wintergreen mints. :)Feedback
