Location
In Idaho, when you plan a wedding during a forcast of sunny with 100% chance of clear skies, wear goggles for the wind storm that will throw sand in you face while a photographer makes you keep your eyes open for that "last" shot......this is what this day looked liked for the beautiful bride pictured here. She was such a good sport and got buckets of visene from sympathetic Friends and family.Time
Shot around two in the afternoon with a nice big winter sun dropping fastLighting
A flash bender was attached to my yuniko speed light, attached to the top of my camera. I pushed the zoom way out to give me nice even light but I pumped the power of the flash up ALL the way for this bright fantastic glow that we see in her faceEquipment

For A split second, the bride leave in to whisper something to her lucky man, and the shot instantly formed in my mind, this is a woman who has found her confidante' and she is empowered by itEditing
I sure did! I cleaned up a few odd spots and blemishes on The brides face and gave the the spotlight with a nice solid vinetteIn my camera bag
Canon t3i rebel that I've had for five years and it's still making me smile and stop in awe looking through its lenses at the world around meFeedback
Watch the way your subject moves and pay attention to what they naturally do. They already feel put on the spot to perform for your camera, the less you pose them, and the more you encourage them, the storm get your image will be. The candid moments are powerful, but look deeper to capture the person in front of you for who they are and let that build during the shoot!! The more confident and comfortable they feel being the real "them" with you, the more pictures you'll capture and save forever in time. You will be a person who takes moments in time, that actually mean something for the rest of us.
