Beautiful - congratulations on all your wins! Can you tell me how did you set up the shot?

Location
this photo was taken at the baby's house.Time
all my newborn shoot are scheduled for the morning when the babies are less frustrated and ready to relax.Lighting
I use a softbox on my light and I keep it away and very low to give softness to my object.Equipment
this was taken with a Canon 5D mark III, 24-105mm Canon, and Bowens 400 for the lighting.Inspiration
newborn photos are my favourite to take, I wanted to show the support that the parents give to their children since day one, couldn't think of a better way than holding the baby together!Editing
I did darken the black area to eliminate any blemish in the background and to give a nice contract, in addition to converting it to B&W of course. In my camera bag
My 50mm Canon F/1.4 never leaves my bag, it's one of my favorite lenses ever. I use 5D mark III body, 70-200mm Canon f/2.8, and 24-105mm f/4 Canon. I don't like hot shoe flash, if the natural light isn't enough I use my reflector, but rarely so.Feedback
the safety of the baby is a priority. the baby in this photo was never held up, instead, I position the newborn on the beanbag safely, with a black sheet underneath, then I ask the parent to place their hand on her back. very simple and that was makes it beautiful. Always look for simplicity!
