There is a beach at the end of our road which my family and I spend many days and evenings at, particularly on long summer nights. My daughter loves to stick her feet in the water and feel the sand rubbing through her toes. On this particular evening she was on the move searching for stones to skip. I had to stop and capture this moment...her looking at the water...the sunlight reflecting off the water and through her blonde hair...and knowing that our evening sunlight was fleeting, much like these childhood memories.
