Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in front of my building, in Belgrade. Belgrade is main city of Serbia, located in South-Eastern Europe.Time
It was cold, freezing morning. I went out to buy bread, and i saw this little crystals, that formed over night. I went back to pick my camera and started taking photos.Lighting
That day was cloudy, light was diffused, all and all not good day to make "warm" photos. In cloudy day you can make true cold winter photos, with later changing that grey note to bit more blue. Why do I always increase blue in cloudy images ? Well that thought in my brain, when it is cold you do not imagine grey picture, but blue one...Equipment
This was shot with hand held Canon EOS 50D with Canon EFS 18-200 mm lens. This is my only lens in my kit.Inspiration
Sudden feeling of cold air as i was leaving my home struck me. I looked around and saw everything covered in freshly fallen snow. Crystals of snow are things that make me curious every time i see them. And all I want is to make more and more detailed picture of snow particles...Editing
I did only slight color enhancement, my idea when capturing photos is to make them as realistic as possible, thus post - processing can be done just in small amounts. In my camera bag
I have only Canon EOS 50D body with Canon EFS 18-200 mm lens. My bag is still (after 4 years) empty, because I recently finished studies and am now unemployed.Feedback
Number one advice someone gave me long ago is to experiment with everything. And I mean everything and anything. I started taking just photos of my room in different time of day, than capturing garden plants on my balcony. This overgrow and I started more and more often going into nature.. And my first trips were to local parks, then on the outskirts of city... Now everywhere i go I know I can rise my camera and capture what tickled my imagination. You just need to keep open mind so that your imagination can bi tickled.
