Behind The Lens

Location

This image has been taken on my home-studio.

Time

Im not sure, I think that it was on saturday in the afternoon.

Lighting

Mostly I tried to keep the same light of image on background. First I created the "chamber" and then took the photo, because I could not find some similar location like the one I imagined.

Equipment

I used a canon 60d with 50mm F1,8 and two strobes fomex. One with a beauty dish and other with small reflector to the wall to bounce a smooth fill light.

Inspiration

For a while I was looking for something different in renowned photographers and I could not find to much, so I started looking pictures, painters, etc. And in this search I found the photographer E. Recuenco, which it was ironic. Their images are awesome and very pictorial, so I tried to do something similiar within my means.

Editing

Yes, a little bit in the composite but not too much. Color temperature, match the shadows, exposure adjustments, nothing more.

In my camera bag

My bag contains a camera Canon 60D, two lenses, 50mm F1,8 and 24-105mm F4. And some studio equipment like bounces, strobes, etc.

Feedback

I recommend to keep calm when things are not working the way we want. It is essential to be patient and try every idea while we are shooting, like differents heights of strobes, the distances of strobes on small places has many impacts on shadows and this generates a contrast too loud or lower.
