Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from a dock on Okanagan lake in British columbia Canada.

Time

I wanted to get a good sunrise photo so i got up at 4 AM and drove down to the beach it was a cold morning , and I waited till almost 6 AM. I took many pictures then when I got home. I found that I had captured the perfect frame, while I sorted out the bad from the good shots.

Lighting

The lighting was amazing as the sun crept over the top of the mountain on the other side of the lake.

Equipment

i used a tripod and my Fuji Finepix T200.

Inspiration

I en joy going fishing at the crack of dawn and I always wanted to capture the perfect sunrise on camera so i picked a day, and decided to finally seek out the picture. I thought hard on where to take the picture and I finaly came to this place.

Editing

I did not do any post processing.

In my camera bag

A tripod, a mini mono-pod, a large mono-pod, a lens cleaner, and my camera.

Feedback

Don't give up, get up early. Have lots of patients, and be prepared to wait. Dress warm, and where layers of clothing for the cold, and make sure you have fun!
