When we arrived in Austria it was wet and rainy without a hint of snow. The next morning my Gran called me to the verandah; there I found 7ft of snow had fallen overnight, which turned the views into a wintery wonderland. Later, we went for a walk and the above image was just one of the views we encountered on our 'stroll'.
