Congratulations on your finalist award. I love how the mist surrounds your POV creating the softness of the colors and adding a mystical feeling.

Location
This is a neighbors entrance to their farm near Markdale, Ontario CanadaTime
Taken 10:00 a.m. on a foggy fall morning.Lighting
Very low lighting even at this hour of the morning but I loved the mood and darkness of it. It reminded me of Sleepy Hollow.Equipment
Canon 7D, 18-55 Canon kit lens, handheld and shot from my car window.Inspiration
I pass this entrance every day and I think I could take a shot of it every time I pass it. It literally seems to change not only with the seasons but with the light and angle. The first time I found it, I couldn't wait until fall to see it how it would look. The textures of the fence, the colors and depth really inspired me. It was so inviting.Editing
Like this photo I love keeping my photo's pure. I do not own any expensive post processing editors and as an amateur I'm not going to learn if I do nothing but process my photo's.In my camera bag
Canon 7D, Canon kit lens 18-55, Canon 100-400 lens, Canon Macro 60mm and my Gitzo tripod. It might be amateur but I take my bag everywhere with me, even to work. I'm don't want to miss a shot.Feedback
I try to think ahead and keep notes where special places like this are. Like I said, driving by often you can see how beautiful something is given different circumstances....light, angle, foggy morning etc. When I first discovered it, i could imagine how it would look in the fall with the tree colors, the textures of the trunks and fence, leaves falling etc.
