These ovens are over 100 years old, 30 feet tall, and were used for primitive production of coal for mining operations in the 1800's. I waded my gear through a swollen river up to my waste and almost stepped on a rattle snake in the middle of the night while trying to make this image.

Yeah there's a lot of work involved - even in post.. This is a 40 image pano-stitch one for the foreground in the blue period then another at 1:30 AM after the moon passed through the field. I wish the milky way was stronger but there was some light pollution and some drunk yahoo's out on their quads in the middle of the night kicking up tons of dust.. It seems to have turned out well enough though... Thanks!
