Behind The Lens

Location

kyoto, Japan

Time

noon time

Lighting

it was a beautiful overcast day, nice even lighting with the sun peaking out every so often

Equipment

canon 5d 70-200 f2.8 no flash

Inspiration

It was a monkey village they running around no cages, all we had to do is not make eye contact, they'll feel threaten if we make eye contact and get very aggressive,

Editing

some color correction and sharpening,

In my camera bag

2 canon bodys, 3 lenses all are L series (the good stuff) 2 canon flashes and remote triggers for camera and flashes, and I don't leave home with out my tripod

Feedback

got to be patient and patient and patient. Know where your light source is coming from, then position yourself in that one place and stay there, I was there for at least half hour so the monkeys kind of got used to me being at that same spot instead of trying to chase them down with my camera. Than all you got to do is wait for your light and subject than have a blast and start blasting away "Aloha kehea koa" your friend art
