Took the photo from my backyard in Nevada, it was when Califonia was having their wildfires.Time
It was around sunset, my backyard faces the westLighting
No special lighting, just the natural sunset, which I think back lighted the smoke coming from the CA fires spectacularlyEquipment

I usually have this camera or my other camera, a Cannon HD PowerSHot with 40x zoom, n extra batteries. I cant afford fancyier or more powerful cameras, or even know how to use themFeedback
Really the only advice I can tell a person is point and shoot at what takes your eye! I have no knowledge of shutter settings or lighting, never had any photography classes, dont even know what all my cameras can do, lol. I just point n shoot taking several pictures hoping I get what I see. If you love it, do it! I hope to be able to someday take some classes and afford a good camera, till then I work with what I have. That's life!
