Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on the upper deck of the Musee d'Orsay Paris.from across the landing from the inside of the clock.

Time

It was taken In the afternoon

Lighting

I let the camera expose the shot automatically as I was aiming to get a silhouette effect.

Equipment

I used my compact camera to take the shot, I think it was a Konica 5000.

Inspiration

I was actually waiting for the old couple to move on so that I could take a photo of my wife who was waiting in the wings. I took this shot as a preview to see what it would look like. I was really pleased with the result

Editing

I converted it to Mono in Aperture

In my camera bag

Nikon D4s, D300, 70 - 200 Vr2, 24 - 70 , 14 - 24. SB910. Vivitar 285.

Feedback

It's there for the taking and excelled my expectations. You can use just about any camera to get it. Go for it.
