This was shot in Central Park in New York City during a trip there with my mom and sister.Time
This was taken about 11am on our last day in New York. We had some time before our flight left so we decided to take one last walk through the park. I'm glad we did or we never would have found this path!Lighting
Lighting was overcast light which allowed the colors to brighten up nicely.Equipment
Shot with a Sony a55 with a 55mm to 200mm Sony telephoto lens. No tripod was used for this shot.Inspiration
We were just wandering along this pond and as we were leaving we found and followed this path. I turned around and felt the scene was mystical and made me imagine walking through an enchanted forest.Editing
Post processing included a few gradient filters. I am self taught and still learning a lot about photoshop and play around with the different features until I get what I saw in my head when I took the shot.In my camera bag
I have my Sony a55, a Sony 55mm to 200mm telephoto, a Sony 100mm to 300mm telephoto, and a Minolta 28mm to 80mm lens. I also carry uv, nd, and a polarizing filter.Feedback
Keep shooting! The more time you spend there the better, as it allows to try different angles, different settings, etc. As I am completely self taught, I take can take some time composing my shots the way I want them due to the fact I am still learning about the relationship between shutter speed, aperture, iso, and white balance, and how they interact with each other.
