Much of the collection was derived from within 150 miles of Cody, the town that Buffalo Bill and his associates surveyed and established in 1895 (Wikipedia)

Great shot!! We were in Cody 2 years ago and stayed at some cabins very close within a half a block of little town and didn't even know they were there :(
