I took this photo during my first visit to Dublin, Ireland. The rain started to fall hard and I sheltered myself in front of a store and the view was perfect with the rain and the reflection of lights.Time
I walked the whole day in the streets of Dublin to explore the city and enjoy the sun. Then it got dark and the rain started to fall. It rained so much that the water seeped into my jacket. It was the 21th October 2013 at 21:56 (or 9:56pm)Lighting
It was a dark moonless night. The floor was shiny of rainfall and lights and neon lights reflected on the ground. The rain gave a new perspective to this street I had already photographed under the sun.Equipment
It rained so much that I didn't dare use my SLR that isn't tropicalized. So I used my DMC-TZ40.Inspiration
I wanted to try to capture the strength of the rain that perfectly reflected in this place because of the street lights.Editing
To emphasize the dark night I have just developed this black and whiteIn my camera bag
I started in photography so I n'ai not much material. I still have my Pentax K-500 with a 18-55mm and a Tamron 18-200mm and a tripod. In case I still have my DMC-TZ40.Feedback
As much as I like to say that I spent a lot of time planning this photo, I especially had the chance to find me at the right time in the right place. Without rain, that intersection wouldn,t have given the same result. So my advice would be always look around you even if you don't necessarily planning to take photos.
