Armed with the1983 Nikon Fe, I walked along Long Street in Cape Town and set my efforts towards finding interesting, unique subjects to photograph. I chose this man because I felt he had a story to tell. He clearly has not had an easy upbringing, evidenced by his clothing and the iconic Sasko bread which he is holding. His look of bewilderment sparks much intrigue.
