I took this photo at the East Strand in Portrush, Northern Ireland. It is one of my personal favourites.Time
I love this photo. It was taken mid morning - I had just finished my morning walk on the beach and as I looked out at the see I could see this fleeting image and thought it was too good to miss and had to capture it.Lighting
I liked the way the combination of the dark clouds and light clouds were coming together and the effect it had on the see. I wanted to try to capture it as best I could as although it was mid morning on a spring morning, the effect the clouds had on the sea made it look as if it was a different time of day and season. I liked the way what was happening in the sky was reflecting on the sea and giving it a shimmery reflection.Equipment

I love taking photos of the beach and the sea and nature and it was just one of those spur of the moment thoughts and it looked picture perfect that I wanted to capture it before the clouds dispersed. I love the way it is just a picture of complete stillness and I loved the effect the light and dark were having on the sea.Editing

I usually just have my camera phone on me unless I know I'm going somewhere with a few hours to spare and would have the possibility of capturing photos on my nixon pixcool camera.Feedback
