I was walking along the beach at Torrey Pines State Park in San Diego, California about an hour before sunset. I arrived at a spot known as Flat Rock. Perched on a small promontory above me was this female Osprey. She seemed content to stay put, but I waited. I wanted to capture her as she took flight. Patience paid off.
