Wonderfull portrait exposure is spot on. I like the direct eye contact and the dark backdrop provides excelent seperation from the model. Hope to see more of you work. This is outstanding.

Location
I took this photo in my atelier. Most of my shots are made over there. It is my creative "mecca" where other artists can meet with me and others who love to express themselfs through photography.Time
This particular photo was made around 5 p.m. It was part of photoshoot for my friend Dominika. It was cold winter day, but inside of my studio we made atmosphere like it was sunny summer afternoon at the beach, ofcourse without background :)Lighting
For lightning i use my bowens setup. For Dominika i choosed 2 point lighting setup. As a main light from the front (overhead) i put Bowens 500c with Beauty Dish with less than 1/2 power. As a fill light i put same light on minimal power with point light extension to bright hair and sholder from the back.Equipment
As a camera i use Nikon D800 with Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8. Lightning: 2x Bowens 500c. Flash Trigger: PocketWizardInspiration
My friend Dominika came to me with and idea that she want to make for her "sexy" photos but not the cheesy ones whitout style. So to express women attraction i choose the simple "after shower" look. Less make up, wet hair and skin just with decent red lipstick. So what do you think? :)Editing
I do postprocessing (retouching) everytime on each photo. First i import my raws into the Lightroom where i do simple corrections as shadows, highlights, exposure, contrast and lilttle sharpening just for contours. Then i export photos to Photoshop CS6 and start retouching. I do frequenci separation, dodge and burn, color corrections with curves, hue and saturation, slective colour etc. And as a final touches i play with different lighting effects, brightning some areas to navigate viewer eyes over that place. In my camera bag
So whats in my bag? Nikon D800, Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8, Nikkor 50mm f1.8, Samyang 85mm f1.4, PoketWizzard, 2nd Battery, Charger, 64GB CF Card, 2x 16GB SD Card 10class, Cleaning Tools for lenses and good mood :)Feedback
For me it is not about the specific formula "How to do this...". Doesnt matter if you are pro or just exploring photography business, it is about your feelings. You have that shot already in your mind but through model, equipment and feelings in the room, you are makeing it. You must know your gear at first. Learn every single functionality of your camera, lights, flashes and even tripod. If you are confident about your tools, then it will come natturaly from the inside of you. Shoot a lot, train your eye and you will see the results. Then photos like this and even better ones will come to your camera, because of you :)
