The photo was taken backstage at "classic night" a club in Cambodia where the Transgender women were preparing for their "Lady-Boy"show. It is apart of the "Transparency" series which is about expressing the emotions of accepting yourself as a Transgender woman through vibrant saturated colours; to defy gender norms by defying colour norms. Coming out as a Transgender is a beautiful and painful process, its something only transgender people can know because showing your true self means you break out of the box people have put you in based on your biological sex.
