I had taken this photo from out my window. I was actually experimenting taking macro photos of paint dropping into a orb of water when I noticed the reflection of the trees in my garden through the water. It made me think of a tiny world in the orb ,so I had to take a photo.Time
I was working on trying to take the photos of paint all afternoon then just as it was turning dark I got this photo of a totally different subjectLighting
All the light was natural light from the last remaining light outside. I felt that it gave the photo and the moment a surreal glowEquipment
I shot this with a tripod and a samsung ek-gc100. I normal take all my photos using my canon t50 because I love film photography but decide for this photo I would get a better and more detailed photo with my ek-gc100 The object I used was a glass orb that I just found and filled with water. Thats why I love photography , you can find amazing photos in the most random And unexpecting placesInspiration
The inspiration of this photo was that you can find abstract beauty in anything and you can just stumble apon it .Editing
I didn't any post processing, I had a look at altering the lighting with brightness and contrast but then decided i liked the original and it was just how I wanted itIn my camera bag
On a normal day when I'm out taking photos I have with me my ek-gc100 for a fast and easy photo that I feel I can get a few shots of the subject I also have my canon t50, canon flash, 35mm lens , 70-210mm lens and 55mm macro lens For the photo I really want to challange myself with. It is by far my favourite camera to use, I love the look of the photo once they are developed. And the fact that you only get one chance of getting that photo right means you appropriate it all the more And I also carry a gopro hero 4 silverFeedback
My advice is to try using objects you wouldn't normally take a photo of, be creative and explore not only your camera but anything you can find. You never know where you next great photo may come from and what it will be of.
