I took this photo on top of a mountain in QueenslandTime
From memory it was around mid afternoonLighting
It was a perfectly bright sunny dayEquipment
I was using my Canon 7 d with a 100 -400l lense hand heldInspiration
The kookaburra was finding food and continually flying to the ground and then sitting back on this branchEditing
I am pretty sure there was no post processing on this shotIn my camera bag
I usually carry the canon 7 d with either the 100-400 canon l lense or the sigma 100 - 600 lense. I also carry a canon 60 d with the Tamron 18-300 for when I am not shooting birds.Feedback
Be patient birds often follow a pattern when feeding so wait and watch for that perfect time
