Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the Boardwalk in Moncton New Brunswick Canada. The tidal bore is one of the wonders of the world as the Bay of Fundy, home of the highest tides in the world fills its tributaries along the tidal journey.

Time

This was at the crack of dawn. Whenever I visit Moncton, the sunsets and sunrises are something I look forward to.

Lighting

The way the light follows the river caught my eye as the sunrise so did the tide.

Equipment

Normally I shoot with a Canon 6D, but this time, I only had a few seconds and shot it on my iPhone.

Inspiration

I have always tried to capture the tidal bore, but this morning was all about luck and light.

Editing

Straight off of the phone, lucky lighting.

In my camera bag

My bag is usually packed with my 6D and RP, both full-frame cameras. With my wide-angle 16mm on the 6D and the 100mm macro on the RP. I always have extra batteries, a tripod, and filters.

Feedback

If you feel it, then it is worth capturing. The mood of the morning, the last light of the day, even the sound of the water can inspire.
