The beautiful and rugged Mae Taeng Valley, in the Northeast of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, when I visited here it was one of the best days of my life. I was lucky enough to ride an elephant up river and up a mountain, drove an oxcart down and then a bamboo river raft back to Chiang Mai, Quality time with strangers and friends, it was an 8am to 11pm event, all smiles.
