Location
I took this photo during Cherry Blossom season in a park in Newark, NJ. It was a picture of my nieces for an Easter photoshoot theme.Time
This was probably around an hour before sunset or just about there when the lighting was optimal.Lighting
At the time, I still in the beginning stages of photography so I simply used my camera and the golden ambiet lighting provided by sunset.Equipment
i used my Nikon D3100 DSLR and kit lens forthis shot.Inspiration
I saw similar photos and inspirations from Pinterest.Editing
I did some post processing such as softining the skin and cropping but not too much as I wasn't well versed in Photoshop.In my camera bag
Now that I have more experience I own thefollowing 50mm f1.8, a wide angle 10-24 mm lens, a 55-200 mm lens, and my kit lens. I also have a Nissin Di700 flash gun and reflector.Feedback
Attempt to find a location in which your subject(s) are walking towards the sunlight but where the light can be dispersed by tree leaves or branches to avoid direct harsh sunlight.
