I kept looking at this flower and wanted to make an image, enchanting and almost glowing. I kept thinking of Belle's rose in Beauty and the Beast. I had this crazy idea of waiting until the sun set and then using a soft box on my speedlight to capture a luminance.

Perhaps it was a crazy idea and beginner's luck but I got what I wanted!
