Absolutely fantastic image! I hope you opened the window and gave this little beauty some crumbs, or bugs, or whatever Blue Tits enjoy, because there will be a whole lot of humans who enjoy this picture.

Location
In our lounge through the window! The Blue Tit was obviously complaining about the lack of food that we had put out.Time
In the morning.Lighting
It was all so quick that I had not chance to consider anything special with lighting.Equipment
I used my Nikon 3200. with a Nikon 55 -300mm telephoto lens. It was handheld with no flash.Inspiration
I love the birds in our garden and I an continually watching for a shot that my be a little more unusual/Editing
No post processing the photos is as it came from the camera. In my camera bag
My Nikon 3200, a Nikon 35mm lens, a Nikon 55 -300mm telephoto lens. a Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 Ex DC HSM F/Nikon Wide angle lens and my small quick, hand held Samsung L201 10.2 MP. I also carry a small tripod in my bag in case of emergency and I do not have my big tripod with me.Feedback
Lots of patience needed with birds and insects and a good eye to spot them. I generally carry my camera with the telephoto lens as I am more interested in the little things in life rather that the big things. I find a tripod generally no good as I have not got the time to set it up when I see a quick movement, a steady hand is essential though. The tripod would be perfect if I had time to sit in a hide and wait but that never seems to happen in my life.
