Behind The Lens

Location

As a 13 year old hobby photographer, I took this picture in Hungary on Gelert Hill, It is one of the most viewed places in Hungary because of the statues. There is a flower garden on this hill with interesting insects. I was walking around with my parents, when I saw this opportunity, I got my camera out and took this photograph with a low aperture, so the background will be nice and blurry.

Time

I took this photo close to mid-day lunch time, when the sun was bright and high in the sky. The sky was also very clear without any clouds.

Lighting

I didn't use any external lighting, because of the sun gave enough light.

Equipment

I used a D3200, with a 18-300mm lens and no tripod or any other accessory besides a polarity filter on the lens.

Inspiration

I was inspired to take this photo because it describes a really happy and pleasant story.

Editing

I didn't edit the image a lot, only sharpened some places. And blurred others.

In my camera bag

I carry a D800E with a 24-120mm lens with a nikon Sb-910 flash and a 150-500mm sigma lens. I sometimes carry a tripod with me. I have a lot of different filters in my bag.

Feedback

I would suggest just keep an eye out when walking in a park or near a lot of insects. It is really useful if you just carry a camera and 1 or 2 lens with you most of the time, of course if it is possible.
