Congratulations Michael! Your photo, "In the Moment" is the Grand Prize Winner in the "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" Challenge. The decision was extremely agonizing and difficult, because there were so many amazing shots. "In the Moment" stood out because it both broke the rules and told a story so effectively! First, I love the simplicity of the black and white presentation. The lovely and joyful bride, centered in the shot. The proud groom. The flowing veil mimicking the wispy clouds. The composition works so exquisitely because of the strong leading lines. The impact is powerful, both because of the simplicity, but also the symbolism. The embracing couple, deeply-rooted into the scene. Looking up, the beautifully unyielding, unending bridge of the marriage bond. Looking down, the cracks and pits that inevitably challenge any relationship. Wonderful image, Michael!!! Congratulations and Thank you for sharing this incredible work!
