this photo was taken in Ulingan (charcoal factory), Vitas, Tondo, Manila, Philippines, while doing some outreach for the kids there, we set-up a day care center or school for small kids and this was when we got a bunch of kids including their parents and brought them to a kids museum and the city zooTime
this was around 7am when we were about to pick up the kidsLighting
this was shot with natural light, since the place was smoked filled because of the charcoal factory, the sun was a bit blockedEquipment
i used a Nikon D80 with an 18-200 VR lens at that time, no flash no filters, shot in colored and was covereted to B/W using Nik Silver Efex ProInspiration
saw this kid helping their parents gather freshly made charcoal and putting them in sacks to be sole in the market, this kid was so playful and naturally posed this way as i took the photoEditing

right now i still use my Nikon D90 but with a Sigma 10mm-20mm lens all the time, and my backup camera is my old D80, i also bring a Nikkor 80mm-200mm f2.8 lens but seldom use it on streetFeedback
shoot as natural as possible, be patient when taking photos specially kids which are so playful, i usually shoot what the scene gives me and do not let them my subject pose or are staged
