Waiting for the sun to rise by the harbour

I have been looking for the opportunity to photograph a ballet dancer, and after much time on location at the bandstand and another landmark close by,

i was in the process of shooting a different scene, but noticed the area a few times and was thinking that it be great if a bird came down, i was luck

I was at a location where the waterfall was hard to find, was once a watermill and fortunately there was room to sit my model Harriet.

Porth Nanvern, finaly found this place, first time i got near bad light meant i had to come back the following day, but worth the wait

the lavender in the foreground frames the view well as the eye starts to draw you out to sea

i often go to this same spot overlooking the sea, a misty day on this occasion

I had the camera on a tripod with a timed multi shot, to capture a more fluid motion portrait of a ballerina looking out of the french windows.
