Congratulations on your well deserved wins! This is really beautiful. Love the subtile, calming tones.

Location
RSPB Nature reserve Lochwinnock Renfrewshire Scotland, from the Aird meadow hide.Time
I woke up early about 4am and decided to try and catch the morning mist over the loch and any birds that are about.Lighting
I had taken a couple of shots but wasn't quite happy with them and decided to try sepia tones I was pleasantly surprised at the atmospheric result.Equipment
Nikon D7000 and Sigma 150 - 500 mm lens and my Notebook and WiFi SD card as I like to view my photographs as soon as I think i am happy with them and saves me a lot of time and can make any adjustments in the field.Inspiration
One of my favorite spots at the reserve, early weekday mornings can be very tranquil and peaceful and a lovely walk along a woodland path, a great time to observe the water foul and listen to the dawn chorus. even on a cold wet day in winter it still inspires me.Editing
just a couple of very soft tweaks to the tones and crop using a very basic editing app.In my camera bag
I normally go out with my Nikon D7000 along with a Nikkor 28-50mm, a tamron 70 - 300 mm and my Sigma 150 - 500 mm lenses. a very sturdy Manfrotto 141 tripod comes in very hand when you need stability I also take alond a Nikon R111 30x65 spotting scope, a couple of spare batteries keeps me shooting all day and not least a good cleaning kit.Feedback
Getting up really early and getting out and about before the sun comes up has always been my favorite time of day and the light can be awesome.
