While on a cruise in 2008 we visited the island of St Maarten. We rented a car and made sure we got out to Maho Beach. The beach is located right at the base of the runaway. We waited a couple of hours for a big enough aircraft to come in and land. After I go this shot we went off and explored the rest of the island before we had to be back on board.
