Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at Shuttleworth in Bedfordshire. It is a raptor centre and Aviation museum.

Time

Most likely taken in the morning not long after my husband and I arrived.

Lighting

Natural light with some shade from the building

Equipment

Hand held Canon 50d with a Sigma 75-200 zoom lens

Inspiration

I love wildlife and although taken in captivity this bird still offers character.

Editing

Just a crop to draw attention to the face.

In my camera bag

Canon 50d, Sigma 50mm prime, Canon 18-55mm and my 75-200mm Sigma zoom

Feedback

Get down to their eye level and talk quietly to them to get their attention. Loud noise will just make them flap about and get stressed.
