Everything about this photograph works extremely well! Your capturing of the textures (such as the aged, beaten metal of the anvil, the grimy, gnarled, wrinkled, weathered big hands of the workman and his hairy weathered arms) is excellent! The composition is perfect and certainly brings the viewers eye to all I have mentioned above. Depth of field, focus, light, shade, contrast, balance are also excellent in my opinion. I particularly like the incredible balance between light and shade that you have achieved. The highlights beautifully detail the raw, worn, beaten surfaces and edges of the anvil and also the mans work worn hands. Brilliant!
