Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at the cemetery of boats of Camaret sur Mer small village of Brittany in France. It 'a very picturesque place adjacent to the port of Camaret and the Vauban tower, there are about five or six fishing boats lying on the small beach waiting to be dismembered.

Time

I remember that I took these photographs in a beautiful day in the morning with a lot of clouds in the clear and azure sky as usually happens in Britain

Lighting

The lighting in the images obviously plays a key role in this and the light that is in Britain is stunning. Always sliding and soft never intrusive or blinding, the best for a photographer

Equipment

On this occasion I was provided with a Nikon D90 and a lens Sigma 17 70 f2.8. Bright perspective and with little space.

Inspiration

See those carcasses lying fishing vessels in such a beautiful and peaceful place gave me the feeling that I had arrived in a place of respect, a note cemetery. So what better way to pay tribute to these boats if not photographing them?

Editing

Obviously this series of mages have undergone the basic settings with Adobe Lightroom 5 and later with the gooogle suite Color Efex

In my camera bag

I'm rearranging my photo backpack leaving the FF Nikon and its system for a less bulky and more versatile Fujifilm XT2 and related objectives

Feedback

The only advice I can give is to win all kinds of resistance and apathy and try to go out where you will find the world trying to grasp the aspects that interest you, then only one council; taken more than you can.
