Location
This photo was taken while I was backpacking through the harsh habitat of the homogeneous population of domesticated suburbanite of Sacramento CA.Time
It was fall late afternoon, when all the suburbanite are all a sleep.Lighting
The lighting was natural // Shade.. Wide open all the way down to 2.8 (A)Equipment
I was using a Nikon 600 I believe no flash and a Nikkor 100mm 2.8G. Hand held so no tripod.Inspiration
I love Micro photo and color, this is a far cry from what I have been doing as of late but I love to do this type of photo when ever I get a chance.Editing
When I get the photos from the camera onto my computer I like to open the RAW file in Photoshop Bridge the image usually speaks to me as I adjust all my images. In my camera bag
It changes from time to time and will also change when I set out to take some photos with something in mind. My everyday bag right now is a D4s or the D5 with the Nikon SB900 flash, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4 and the 70-200 2.8. When I carry a tripod I use the Manfrotto graphite legs with the Manfrotto 324RC2 light duty grip ball head. You need a good set of sturdy legs with a good head to get just about anything done and Manfrotto seems to have more that one choice of both.Feedback
I like to try and view everything as I see it through the lens stop and think what appeals or for something to make an earnest request for my attention, so if I'm walking around or driving I seem to be looking for inspiring images in everything I look at or consume with my eyes.
