Alwar Fort, known by the name of Bala Qila is located at a hill top in the Aravalli mountain range in Alwar, Rajasthan, India. The fort was built by Hasan Khan Mewati in 1550 A.D. It passed from the Mughals, to the Marathas, to the Jats, till it was finally captured by the Kachhwaha Rajputs.
