Location
The photo was taken in the beautiful island of Langkawi in Malaysia. This is just one of the many workshop I attended. Organized by Filipino photographer Anthony Barlan for Manny Librodo's workshop.Time
This was probably around 10 am. It was a beautiful morning.Lighting
Simply day light. No reflector.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon mark III 5d, with a 20-70 mm 2.8 Lens. No other equipment was involved in this shot.Inspiration
Manny Librodo. He is one of my favorite photographer. I love the way he composed his subject. He is one of my inspiration and I love his personality.Editing
I blur the sky a bit and her hand too. I used Nik software too in this image. In my camera bag
Canon mark III 5d camera and few lenses like 85mm 1.2 which is great for portrait and wedding photography. When traveling I take with me my 24-70 2.8 lens, it is quite heavy but it can capture great images and stories. When shooting fashion I carry with me my 70-200 2.8 lens and sometimes 85 mm too.Feedback
Always try to get creative shots in every situation. Remember you will always get unique and better photos by shooting from different angles. I'm a self taught photographer, I always experiment with new angle, subject and looks. The experience from your experiments will teach you better than any photography course out there, but it's also good to attend workshops and make new friends and learn from them too.
