When I was a little girl, my mom would always hack my hair off, I think the technical term is "bowl-cut". She said I couldn't have long hair because it would tangle too much. I would always get confused for a boy, I hated that hair cut. One day while changing I caught a glimpse in the mirror of myself as my t-shirt was over my head, for a split second it looked as if I had long hair. After learning that little trick I'd play in front of the mirror and pretend I had long hair... This image is an ode to all little girls having to play pretend, t-shirt over my head and all.
