Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while standing on the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn New York. I was gazing off of the bridge and saw the beautiful sunset taking over the city.

Time

This photo was taking during sunset in the month of January so I would assume around 5pm maybe. This photo is from when my boyfriend and I ventured to the Brooklyn Bridge to hang a love lock on it together. It was a really special moment and the sunset made it even more beautiful.

Lighting

I think the lighting is what makes this picture so exciting! I love this time of day right before it becomes dark out. I love how the picture above the clouds looks lie daytime while under the clouds looks almost like nighttime.

Equipment

I used a Nikon L330. Nothing fancy just what I had on me while we were exploring. I did not use a flash or a tripod for this photo.

Inspiration

My boyfriend and I were standing and gazing at the beautiful city skyline and were captivated by how beautiful it was in that moment.

Editing

no I did not.

In my camera bag

I didn't have much with me that day since we were planning on doing a lot of exploring and I didn't want to carry a lot of gear with me.

Feedback

Really just make sure you're adjusting your settings correctly. For example, pictures look completely different based on if it's in sunset mode or daytime mode so I would suggest putting it on something like sunset or dusk/dawn.
