Thanks, I wish I had more time in the studio that day to have experimented with more lighting

Behind The Lens

Location

In a studio while I attended collage.

Time

Late afternoon.

Lighting

All the light is artificial, the studio was very dark.

Equipment

I used my Canon 550D with a standard 18-55mm lens mounted on my tripod. I also used 5 studio flashes to get the effect I wanted

Inspiration

I wanted to make a modern looking take on Bonnie & Clyde.

Editing

Not much, I had just used Photoshop to get the grey scale effect I needed for film noir. I also used Photoshop so that I could 'light' their cigarettes and add smoke

In my camera bag

My 550D with a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. A spare lens, my on camera flash and wireless transmitters.

Feedback

Most important thing I found while doing this, is find 2 people who are really good with each other. I had to find a few people before I could get the shot I was happy with.
