This photo was taken in Kvariati, Georgia. I was having a vacation with my family and at that period was mastering my panorama shooting technique.Time
Already in the morning I decided that will definitely shoot the sunset. So I was waiting the whole day till the moment I'll grab my camera and go to find a perfect location for my shot. I found a perfect point where I could get a symmetric panorama shot. The sky was cloudy the weather was calm, so the conditions were perfect! I didn't have a tripod with me, so this photo was taken fully handheld.Lighting
When I was editing this photo, it was kind of flat colored, so I decided to crank up the colors and contrast, that's how I got this kind of juicy colors and the face of the photo changed totallyEquipment
At that time I was using my old Nikon D3100 with Sigma 17-70 lens, with no tripod.Inspiration
I was following my idea of getting a perfect seaside sunset and I think i got it.Editing
This kind of landscape photos require very unique post processing, to get the colors you want. I remember that it took me 1-2 hours of processing to get all the photos together into a panorama and then getting the colors I really want.In my camera bag
Nowadays I usually carry my bag in the car, so I always have my Nikon D610, Nikkor 28-70mm 2.8 and NIkkor 50mm 1.4 lenses, my Yongnuo flash and Manfrotto tripod with me.Feedback
Just don't be lazy, get early, find a great location, shoot until you get the shot you were looking for, never be afraid of experimenting and just enjoy the process.
