Location
This photo was taken at home.Time
It was during the afternoon.Lighting
The picture was taken inside a house with windows on the roof, creating just enough natural light for nice light.Equipment
I think I had a Canon EOS 450D at the time of this picture, probably with the basic 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I was at home observing 4 kittens playing around. They were so adorable that I took my camera out to immortalize the moment and I decided to observe their reaction when putting a small mirror on the floor. Immediatly, they went to look at it. This picture is my favorite one of the serie I did!Editing
The kittens have magnificent blue eyes and I wanted this to stand out after editing the picture. After several tests I decided to make a version in black and white and just to keep the colorful eyes :)In my camera bag
In my bag, I have my beloved camera, a Canon EOS 650D, and 3 lenses: 18-55mm, 55-250mm and a macro 70mm. I always carry an extra SD card and an extra battery and I also have tripods (a big one and some strong small ones, very convenient!). Finally I have a couple filters (neutral, polarising and some UV filters only to protect my lenses).Feedback
Cats are an amazing source of inspiration, they are beautiful and always ready to jump around and attract our attention. I think it is important to put focus on the eyes, then to try to find a little originality that will make the difference in comparison with other cat pictures :)
