AHH the memories I drove a Volkswagen van from Vancouver Canada down to San Fancisco to

The photo was taken at a VW gathering in Margam South Wales several years ago.Time
Around mid afternoon I had the opportunity to take a closer look at some of the vans on show, great light plenty of room and limited access so no crowds.Lighting
Simple naturally lit, it was a beautiful day, I always try to use natural light when at all possible..Equipment
Canon EOS-1Ds MK111, natural light, no flash I think I was using my Canon 24-70mm 1:2.8 L USM.Inspiration
Great subjects, the VW's are spilt into several categories and I really like the 'Rat' Style vans with all the patina and artificially created rust detailing.Editing
Ran it through Lightroom and just tweaked it a little to where I thought it showed the real character of the van.In my camera bag
Still running the EOS-1Ds MK111 or a 1D MK111 and either my Canon 24-70mm 1:2.8 L USM or EF 70-200mm 1:2.8L IS USM. Covers most situations as I generally shoot landscapes and surfing whilst on the move. I have longer lenses but I'm too impatient to take a spot and sit for hours waiting for the right shot.Feedback
